I don't know if this a true story but I've heard that Johnny Archer and Tony Ellin had a 1K wager on shooting free throws and Tony made 91 out of 100 and lost! I wouldn't doubt it considering Archers hand-eye coordination and golfing prowess. Still, he seems a little skinny to play serious defense:)

Watching pool players play basketball? It would be like watching professional golfers bowl.

I don't get it.

I like watching pro players play pool.

What does everyone else think?

I wanna see Alex. P. and Santos play basketball against Johnny Archer and Rodney Morris :D

I know for a fact that Rodney Morris can play basketball, and he plays good. He also plays real good Ping-Pong, Chess, and I've heard about his Golf game. Damn ex-cons, LOL.

I'd pay to watch Buddy Hall play Ronnie Allen some full court to 100 pts. (but, I wouldn't pay much. I mean, I'd be giving up a whole week's vacation to watch this match, after all.... "Masochist Doug)

MFB,

Have a heart? It's a charity event. Bet ya $100 that some play basketball better than they shoot pool.

Cheers,

Gremlin

Gremlin,
Entry fee includes ticket to charity event the next day. I'd rather play with the pros in a scotch doubles pool match than basketball. JMHO Doesn't really matter, I hope everyone has a great time.

If you ask any filipino pool player (or a filipino for that matter),
what's the no. 1 games in the philippines or have you tried
to play basketball ever before for that matter ? i believe 100 % would say
basketball on the former and yes on the latter.

My question would be why there is no filipino pool player
on the list playing basketball ? :D
There should be at least one huh..
