Playability verses collect ability

I am looking at (3) cue builders. Gina, Scruggs, and last Mike Lambros. I want to start a small collection that will appreciate, but also want cues that are very playable. Who?s cues from the three I have listed would you personally choose, and why?
 
Lambros has a nice hit but is pricy. Understand Mike is one of the few cuemakers still selling most of his production in Japan.
 
All three have giant reputation, and well earned in my opinion. The collectors say collect what you love and you can't miss. Certainly the three you have mentioned are in sync with this wisdom.
