Hello Jenn, I received my Billiards Digest today and read that you are doing a article for Playboy magazine. You are getting a lot of attention right now and doing a article in Playboy is going to help also, positive things have to happen for you. The attention you are getting right now has to be good for the WPBA and I wish you all the best. Professional Pool right now needs all the Publicity it can get, Poker seems to be putting Pool on the back burner. Good luck.

I feel the same way...publicity on any pool player is good for pool!

As far as poker, I believe that it has helped pool. Because it has brought in so many viewers the networks are looking for similar shows that have the same appeal. This may be why there are 2 new pool shows on tv (Celebrity Billiards and Ballbreakers).

That is a good point, I did not look at it that way. I have seen players around here that have stoped playing to play in poker because there is more money. That is why I said that poker is putting pool on the back burner. With the two new shows on tv and with the International Pool Tour maybe pool can start getting more money and more tv time.

i am not sure about tournament pool,but poker is killing gambling pool.The pool rooms around here are very slow.most people who used to gamble at pool alot seem to be playing poker instead now.i think alot of people are losing money at online poker also.i live near JOB in Nashville and there used to be action in there every night now it is a ghost town.every tuesday they have a $300 added tournament that used to draw 25-35 players now it is less than 10 every week.they quit having it.two days a week they have funzy(free) hold em tournaments and the place is packed 50 -100 poker players and no one playing pool.pretty sad.

might have to hang your center fold next to my cues close to the bed maye i could get the girl friend to sleep on the floor and i could have you and my cues in bed ya that sounds good after all she allways said i love my cues more than her.
