Played my first game of snooker last week!

Went to Portland/Vancouver area last week to visit our sons and go to the Blues Festival. Thanks to a poster on this forum, we were able to locate rooms with snooker tables. First went to Classic Billiards, but unfortunately just as we were getting the balls for the 12' table, some regulars came in and wanted the table to play golf, so we gave it up. We then went to the Rialto Club. We were able to play snooker on their table. According to the findsnooker.com it was a 12' table, but we are quite sure it was 10' as it didn't seem to be nearly as big as the first one. Had a great time. What a great, but very difficult game. My man cave is getting it's ceiling right now and then we will be getting our own table. Looking forward to that. Still want to play on a 12' sometime.

Glad to hear it. Play snooker for a few weeks straight and it's even more fun.

I can update the website to change the table size for the Rialto Club to 10'. When I call to ask about the size of a snooker table the employee who happens to answer the phone may not know the size of the table, so after playing 20 questions (e.g. "Is it a little bigger than a full-sized table, or is it gargantuan?") we arrive at a number.

What a great, but very difficult game. My man cave is getting it's ceiling right now and then we will be getting our own table. Looking forward to that. Still want to play on a 12' sometime.
