Love it. Great game. My pocketing skills had been going down recently. I will be practicing on there whenever that goes down again. Also practice my stop draw follow on there. Tough game. I was happy to get a pretty good Score of 57 in one of the games. Too bad there is only one table around where I live.

Same deal here. There is only 1 Snooker table left in the county. There was 4 at one time, but greedy room owners converted them to 5 X 10
with standard pockets so they could get more money.

Did you use a regular pool cue?

Hi there,

Glad you enjoyed your first game of snooker!

Where did you play at may I ask?

Regards.

I used a *cough*house cue. Actually all I ever use. I used to have my own cue but someone broke into my car and stole it. Haven't bought another one since. But, maybe sometime soon if I win another tourny that pays out good.

Did you play on 6x12 or 5x10. Hopefully the former because the larger tables are somehow more satisfying.

Was just 5*10 I think. That extra 2 feet has got to make for some crazy long shots. Now I can see why all the snooker players are so fundamentally sound.

Would you rather they not be "greedy" and close their halls........

I would venture a guess that 57 was his final score, not a break. Nice that you enjoyed this great game though. I do have to say, find a 12-footer, this is like 9-ball on a 7-footer, still pretty hard, but much easier nonetheless.
