I agree 100%. I just wish that they would come out with a new catalog of cues every year and stop producing cues from catalogs older than 5 to 10 years.
In my experience their stuff is decent quality and it will play just fine. I like their HXT shafted cues a little more, it's a solid shaft with a Kamui tip for a good price.
Overall, I don't like these fancy looking decal cues....if you can't afford a fancy cue then I'd rather have a nice plain cue of simple wood without the faux inlay/point decals....but that has no impact on playability so if you're cool with it then no reason not to go with it.
For my money I'd spend a little more for a basic G-Core McDermott or get a Schmelke sneaky at the price point.

My first cue was a Player's HXTE10 and it played fine. I only changed to OB Cues because I wanted a wrapless cue and got an OB121 at a great price. But I'd have been happy to keep the Player's if it had been wrapless.

Good brand bang for buck, but I really wish they would stop with so many decal cues, and bring back some real inlay/veneers & wood. Even if the prices went up a little. Bring back "real"!
