Players in Atlanta

I've been in ATL for almost a week and didn't even think about seeing if there was anyone out on this forum that lives in this area. I am heading up to Players on Windy Hill after work if anyone in the area is interested in meeting up. I am from Charlotte but I come to ATL every few months on business. Are there any other places I should check out while I am here?

Athens,Ga (about 80 miles from Atlanta) has Murphy's Brass Rail. The owner supports some of the ladis pros and their are some good players around usually. Ask for Bruce if you want to match up with a good player.

Mr. Cue II is in Atlanta and has a snooker and billiard table as well as 20 + tables. Big hall, you should be able to find a game if you want.

Well if anyone changes their minds or reads this late, I will be playing on a 9' footer by the bar. If you approach me, you can say "You shoot a pretty good stick" and I'll reply, "Thank you, hey do you shoot straight pool mister"

buddha look for info on starzone....super nice place with all diamonds and some really good people there ......cues 2 is also another place to play and some good action but make the put up the money so there wont be any problems......those are the best 2 upscale places in atlanta and if you want some more relaxed ....get info on thurmans in jonesboro....the owner is a super guy that will steer you into action and he is very straight......juston coleman

Jillians in Discovery Mall (off 120 and I-85) has a huge pool room with about 15 new GC IV and two smaller rooms with 4-6 tables in each of them. The house cues are terrible however. Also, it's free weekdays between 11 and 3PM if you order lunch.

Mr Cues II is nice (Kim Steel Tables), Starzone (Diamond Tables) and Atlanta Billards (Gandy, Connelly, and Gold Crown IV) are also quite nice.

Happy Shooting!

Hey Bazooka Joe,

I move to SC a couple of years ago from NW Georgia. I heard Crockett and Bill Bailey opened Hot Shots back up. They are buddies of mine. I hope they are doing ok. If you get a chance to see them, tell them that Mike Templeton said hello.

Thanks,

Mike T.

They seem to be doing great. Both placed in the money at DCC. The new place is called Diamond Billiard Club. I'll tell 'em.
