player's responsibility for calcuttas

This kinda pisses me off.

Calcuttas are a way for pool players to make money. In local tourneyments, I usually bid on a few players, but this makes the pool of money larger and makes for the player a way to usually double his money.

For example if the tourney pays 1000 and the calcutta pays 2000 (not unusual) I get 1000 and the player would get 2000.

If somebody did this to me....he might have problems later.

The player you buy Ken has zero obligation to make Ken happy. (Although i am not saying that quiting is the correct thing to do, the player fends for himself.)

I bought a top player one time at a ridiculously low price. I was shocked when he declined to buy half of himself. I figured that he might not have the cash or whatever.

He ended up chopping, but I still got paid so I gave him a little cut.
