Players' Room in Austin TX?

You can see my notes regarding the Austin scene at www.ATXpool.com

Depends if you want to prioritize cheap drinks, flirting, shooting, betting, smoking, some even fighting. haha. Each spot has it's benefits. :)

Thanks guys

I was thinking 9 foot brunswick gold crowns, quiet atmosphere for most of the day for a little straight pool action...is that Clicks, the Warehouse or Shooters?

Thank you for your help!

Great site! I usually go to Slick Willies on Lamar. It's great for my son to go with me in there. Any others you would suggest for a 11 year old and his dad? I'll be back on the 20th. Thanks, Ron:thumbup:

The other Slick Willies by I-35 and the mall closed down right?

Yeah, I think slicks would be the best bet for some father and son time.

The highland-mall slicks did close, so you have Lamar and Burnet.

The warehouse has some 9 footers. I haven't visited all the poolhalls in town though, I'm far southside, so driving a long time in traffic is avoided. :) I play at the stardust, it's all 8ft.

Where are the good weekly tournaments at in Austin? I used to play the Eric's tournaments, but that place is gone.

WareHouse Mon-Thurs: 11:00-4:00 renting a 9-ft Gold Crown (or any other table) is $3.00. Note: not $3.00 per hour, not $3.00 per person, a total of $3.00 for how ever many people are playing.

Its mostly empty at these times.
