I was at a pool tourney last night playing Omaha and Holdem (showed up late for the tourney and got into a card game). Anyways these two young guys, maybe 22, show up and start playing on seperate tables. One was winning alot and another guy was banging balls around. I could tell the "Banger" wasn't trying very hard but you can notice a good bridge & stroke easily. So I was sitting there getting a laugh at their attempt to get a money game. I found out after the fact that one of them wanted one of the locals to play him for $20 or $100. But before I heard that I put my quarters up and played the winner guy. I had been drinking a few beers so I was kind of lit and I wasn't going to try to get into a money game. I just wanted them to know that they can't come into my bar and try to pull that. Maybe that is egotistical of me, maybe I should have let them keep playing around, maybe I should have tried for all their money... Instead I just waxed em 4 straight games and they left. Noone pulls that in my house...except me. I know that I will never be a "hustler" because I want to win every game too much. But that is good, useful trait to have when just straight matching up.
