Speaking for myself I don't like races (short races), but fortunately in tournaments today they keep getting shorter. Back in my gambling days I would not do races. We did the game thing till someone pulled up, was busted, or we set a time frame to quit. SVB plays long race because he has the ability to last and if he is down the heart to come back. Short races don't favor the better player (5 or 7). I wish I had a dollar for every time someone loses on the hill by an unfortunate roll, being his or the opponent good roll. Just one mistake can cost you the set or tournament. Tournaments tend to ruin a gamblers game because you never come out strong gambling, it was part of the hustle game. You have to reprogram you mind and train of thought to play tournaments to open up strong and keep the opponent in his seat.
