Will be in Atlanta-Chattanooga area mid-late August. Any suggestions for places to play? Where does Johnny Archer hang his hat?

I understand Archer is over at Mr Cues 2 now.
Looking for action?

Looking to play Johnny if he is free that day, not "looking for action" as in serious gambling... I don't expect to win or anything, unless the handicap is great I could go a bit, but not looking to make or lose money.

I love the game as is, and want to play some higher level competition than I get around my neck of the woods, and will be in the area. Want to match up for free? I will tell everyone here you can whoop my butt, or keep quiet, as the winner wishes, Mr. Action-maker... (grin)

Looking for Johnny?

Johnny usually plays ouroth The Pool Room located in Marriette, Ga. We hae a stop there on our Amateur Tour. It depends on his schedule. The Carolina Open is in August and the US Open is in September.

I too will be in the Atlanta area in the month of August. Are there any week night tournaments in the Northern Atlanta area that would be worthwhile to attend?

Hey BazookaJoe,

How did the tournament at Diamond Billiards go this month? I am gonna try to get over for the August tournament.

Talk to yo ulater.

Mike

Just some info

If you go to www.uspapool.com and click on pool resources, you can find a pool room and their info in any area you travel. Mike Sprinkle runs that site and its been great for us booking our tour. You can click on the room and if its listed will tell you of their tournaments. Check it out. Maybe that would help.
