Playing the ghost...

yeah, i have been having problems lately with the ghost playing to the 7. it's real hard when you don't count any combos or making it on the break.

Clint,

Generally, someone who is a Solid B player should be able to beat the ghost if they are playing good. And someone who is a A- or above should always be able to beat the ghost.

I like to play the ghost when warming up, and for the most part can always run to the 7 or 8 ball GRRR and of course lose lol.

If I was to take the 7 ball from the ghost, It would almost be too easy for me.

And yes, playing the ghost on a 7ft table is alot harder than on a 9ft table.

on a 7ft table I am rated a C in the local handicap tournament, but on a 9ft table I go upto atleast B- or B.

If you find yourself on the typical losing end of playing the ghost, give yourself a handicap, start with getting the wild 6ball, if thats too easy goto the 7, and so on.
