I can't believe how many players are playing with "javelins" now. Earl, Shaw, SVB all have cues that are taller than they are! There must be something to it, perhaps stability? Accuracy? i'm curious as to what others think about longer than standard cues. I tried the various extenders out but am back with a regular playing cue again. I did find them great for the mid range to long game but for the short game, all the touch shots, baby swerves, nip draws, the feel for stun runthu's....gone. no idea. That and pretty ungainly to wield around, a lot of collateral damage. So back to the old broomstick. Just wondering weather the long-bow is here to stay as an everyday cue. What is your take on them?
