I have found a cue manufacturer which actually an old name already but seems like unpopular nowadays, McDermott. This brand is super unfarmiliar to billiards players in my country, Vietnam, somehow I have a lot of affection for this cue brand because they have their own style of design. It's like a combination of classic and modern.
I intend to introduce this brand to my customers again (cuz i heard that it used to be well-known). Please gimme some recommendations whether it is a good cue brand name to play with. Sorry for my bad English.
Btw, I work as a billiards distributor which is looking for a good cue manufacturer to partner with. Any recommandations from u guys are very much appreciated.

McDermott has built quality cues since the 70s. Their USA line of cues is very good quality. Their imported line is pretty good for the money also.

I agree with Chris, I have nothing bad to say about them, and as a cuebuilder, I have beginners ask all the time for me to build them a cue and I always recommend to buy a Mcdermott star or lucky cue first, play with it for a few years and if they stick with it, we can then talk about building them a cue. Only production cue maker I recommend. Very rare I have to do a repair on one (outside of a re-tipping) and usually when I do it's due to someone abusing the cue.

I have to agree with Chris and Dave. I bought my first McDermott about 20 years ago; liked it so much I bought another just like for a backup. Only work I’ve done on them is install new tips or try Juma ferrules. Great cues for the money.
