Please help choosing new leather pockets

HI all, Wife and I could use a little advice from seasoned knowledgeable individuals.

We were wanting to replace the leather pockets on our 20 year old 8 ft. pool table, - they are scratched up by cats from previous owner.
I looked on internet and there didn't seem to be many options, we want all real leather.
--- There is a place that has "Level Best Brand" #6 ones and we were wondering if these are any good? The one set they have has a slight bit of rust around the #6 pins on the sides (or whatever they're called). They say they are new, but rust on new ones? ---
What does everyone recommend when buying a brand or where to get them and what kind to get?
We would like a really good quality set and are willing to pay for it.
Any recommendations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as we are in a time crunch to get this done.
Thanks!

Try Muellers Recreational products via the internet they have billiard table supplies that are quality and fairly priced. Call their 800 number listed on their web site to discuss your exact needs for your table. I have worked with them for over 30 years on ALL things billiard related and they will help. If they do not carry leather pockets any longer they can probably direct you to a trusted source.

If you are looking for really good quality American made leather pockets and price is not an issue for you, about your only option remaining is Ken at classic billiards (classicbilliards.net). He bought out all the remaining stock from hood leather goods a couple years ago before they went out of business. They were virtually the only remaining American pocket manufacturer before they closed. His prices are high, but as he has no remaining competition other than the asian made pockets, there is really no other option.
