Hi everyone,
Quick back story - I recently received this Schon as a gift from my father-in-law. I originally owned it back in the mid 90s after getting it in a trade with Joe Salazar in Vegas at a BCA Nationals event (96 or maybe 98). It passed through a few different owners in that time, and ended up with my now father-in-law. He knew it was one of the few cues I wished I had never parted with and surprised me by giving it back!
I've been searching through the AZ forum posts as well as any and all catalogs I could find online and have yet to see this same cue. From what I have read, it appears to be a 1993 due to the pin and the Schon on the shaft collar. It is a ltd, so maybe this is a 1 of 12 situation which is why I haven't come across another one. The pictures don't do it justice, looks like ivory inlays in ebony and Schon's mystery green-blue material that has been discussed here (although it just looks green to me).
Any experts out there that may be able to shed some more light? Maybe an actual model number? I will probably try contacting Schon next, but wanted to throw it out to the forums first. Also, I'd be interested in what the experts might think it is worth, but I'll state now that it means too much to me to consider parting with, so it's not for sale.
