Please help identify joint pin?

okay, just seemed to me that the 1 inch line is between the 10 and 11 mark. So, seemingly it is 3/8x10.5, lol. I just wanted to be sure, because I need a shaft for this cue. Thanks.
Off topic, but the really strange thing is, that the Non Original shaft I have for this cue (which fits it just fine), fits both a 3/8x11 pin, and a 3/8x10 pin, so that confused me, lol. I guess that it was double threaded, for some reason, or maybe that is normal anyways, lol. I do not know.

Thanks. I thought it looked to be right in between the 10 and 11 mark (10.5 turns, at the 1" mark, lol). I understand it also looks like a 3/8x11, just like a SW joint pin would look. I just wanted to be sure. As dumb as the question might be, lol. Thanks a lot.
You don't get very accurate measurements using a tape measure with a floating end tab. Don't you have a ruler? Its much more accurate for measuring something like that. If it is tapped for 3/8" x 10 and 3/8" x 11 it won't fit either very well.

okay, thanks. Guess I need to buy a ruler, lol. I guess most likely a 3/8x11, because that is what it looks like, and never seen a brass plated 3/8x10.

Ok… the bottom of your measuring tape doesn’t start at a full thread. And anytime I use this kind of measuring tape, I use the 1” as my zero datum and go to the 2”.
It looks very much like 10 TPI. I am starting at the peak of the thread that sits just above the 1” mark and counting downwards to the joint. The last thread peak lands just above the zero datum. I count 10 thread peaks for that one inch span.
Get yourself a cheap set of calipers. You have too much interest in cues not to be able to do this.

If you still are not entirely sure after all the measuring - I would send the cue butt to whomever is providing the shaft so that the fit is guaranteed. It only cost about $20 to send a cue butt anywhere in the U.S. and it would be returned with your new shaft.
