Hello, I recently received a interesting Viking cue in a trade. The model is not listed in the Blue Book of Cues any addition. The Viking name appears to be from 1990's production, however, the joint is brass, the pin is brass into a brass insert. The cues bumper and weight bolt also appear to be from around 1980 to 1984 series. The Viking insignia is not in a plastic window.

If anyone has an additional information please contact me or post it.

I think it's a B series from 1980 ish...What kind of wood is that? My monitor is really dark latley.
Vikings can be tough to age because they really kept the retro look longer than most.

Hi Craig :), how's it going buddy? :)

I'm 99.9% sure, that I remember seeing that particular model of cue, in the Mueller catalogue, way back about 8 years ago, except the one I remember had blue pearlescent collars in the butts sleeve, with the white pearlescent in between :)

Perhaps there are a few others that may be able to ellaborate on this either way :)

I hope that this is some help at least :)

Andy, I am uncertain of the wood in that cue, but I thought that the B-series had Viking under a clear window in the butt, and this cue has no window.

Thanks for the help Andy!!

Hello Willie, I actually think the cue is from the 80's. The materials used including the pearl is old stock. However thanks for the information Willie, I will still check it out.

Have a great night Willie!!!

Hey Craig, You're most very welcome sir :), I like to try and help as best I can, if I can in any way :)

Good luck with the research on the cue :)
