Hello all, I just purchased this cue from a local shop. The person stated it was a Dale Perry cue. I contacted Mr. Perry and he said it was not one of his cues. I was hoping someone here might help me find out the maker of this cue. After looking at it for a while, it looks like a production cue, but I'm not sure. It did come with two shafts. Thanks for looking..................................

If there are no distinguising marks, it's gonna be kinda hard. Have you tried under the butt bumper, if not that, then there maybe something under the wrap. Other than that...

I can see why they said DP. It does have some similar lines to a DP. But if he said it wasn't his, I'm sure he'd know best!

Yep, It's a pechauer, look between the points for a J. Pechauer signature in cursive writing.

Thanks

Jon

Nice cue by the way

The silver ring work on the butt at D & E is very similar to some I've seen on Pechaur cues. Maybe the guy had his cue builders mixed up. But I don't claim to be an expert either.

Ok, here is what i've got... the closest match i've found is the PR7, here is the Blue Book Description:
Stained Bird's-eye Maple forearm with metal ring above wrap, four intricate floating points with mother-of-pearl diamond shaped inlays in center, stained bird's-maple butt sleeve with four intricate windows with mother-of-pearl diamond shaped inlays in the center between metal rings at top and bottom.

Hope this helps at least a little :-)

Thanks

Jon

Does it have a Stainless Steel Joint with 5/16-14 Pin or duralite (cyro/implex) joint with either 5/16-14 or 3/8-10... That would help...

For a true confirmation, why not contact Pechauer himself? That should settle this matter.

Yeah, but then i wouldn't have that good feeling of helping somebody out... :P
On a side note, pechauer fills a lot of custom orders, like the forearm of a pr7 with the buttsleeve of a pr23 and a bird's-eye maple grip, my dad's pechauer has the forearm of a P10 and the buttsleeve of a P11, it's a nice cue, i kinda like it better than my pechauer (P3).

Thanks

Jon

hey there ......being a owner of many different pechauers in my life i can say without a doubt the cue in mention is a pechauer.....not to sure of model number but i will make a nice bet and give odds that this cue is a pechauer.....so if anyone wants to bet it up let me know.....could start a large pool.......juston

Yep, I agree. Looks like a Pechauer to me. Maybe one his older models. And Pechauers are available with custom work as well so maybe this one is custom made. I don't know if the customer wanted to leave the Pechauer signature out in this particular cue.

Check out for the cue lines and contact information:
