Please help me identify this cue!

I'd appreciate any one helping me identify this cue.
Other then what you can see in the photos it has a round brown bumper at the base with a screw in the center. It's birds eye maple, The points are close to perfect and symmetrical.The circular inlays are pearl. The shaft has a brass insert.

It is a custom for sure. I could be wrong but those points look like recuts. Nice cue also. You thinking of selling it? Where did you get it? Also, some beter pics would help. Try to get a close up of the joint, bumper and take bumper off so you can get a good shot of the weight screw. That is sometimes a tell as to who made it. Good luck in your quest for knowledge.
 
It came out of an estate, I'm not sure what to do with it yet. The first step is to identify it. If I decide to sell it your first on my list.
 
Does it have any marks on the butt cap, or signature on the forearm of the cue???

Also, where (what state) was the estate in???

I thought the same initially. But I don't think it is. The area between the wrap and but is almost a dark rosewood not ebony. The points are brown, not ebony. The joint is not an Adams joint, on this cue the pin come to more of a point then an Adams cue where the pin is more blunted. The wrap
green & white not black and white. I play with an Adams cue, the hit on this cue is not even close.

The cue is an Adam GB4. The pin is standard on Adam Bushka series cues and the anyone can get a wrap change. But regardless, it's a GB4. The cues are mass produced and maybe the ebony was lighter, maybe they grabbed macassar, it's a factory and material varies.

BTW the joint is a Balabushka series joint.

JV knows his cues. If he would have said "I think it is....", I would look for more opinions. But when he says "It is a GB-4." It is a GB-4. I wouldnt doubt his expertise. Good call JV.
 
I appreciate all of your help. I play with an Adams cue, in fact I have posted photos of it to this site. I wasn't aware that a different joint was used. Perhaps it has been re-wrapped and the signature re-moved and re-Finnish or perhaps it was a prototype.
Does anyone know if the Adams line was patterned after actual cues?

No, the advertisement is worded as it's their opinion this is what George would be making today if he making cues.. which is hokie BS anyways. There is a GB 11 on ebay right now unsigned. Could it be a factory second, maybe.
