Please help value old Viking

I am helping a friend value his cue. It is an old Viking that was presented to Minnesota Twins player Dean Chance. It has some restoration work that was completed by Viking several years ago. I believe the butt cap, wrap and at least the shaft collar were replaced. It has one shaft. The cue is heavy, over 21 oz.

The butt reads something to the effect for Dean Chance courtesy of National Billiards and the joint says from Viking Cues of Stoughton WI. I believe it is mispelled to make room.

The cue and shaft both roll straight together and apart. He believes the case was also part of the gift. Any information or range would be appreciated. It probably will go on Ebay, but would like to know what to expect. Thanks, Rich

The replacement work kills the value. If there are any big Twins fans who see it, you may get more. I love that it is a Titlist, but the rest of the cue hurts.

$600? That's my guess.

not many poolplayers used vikings as they werent so good. this one looks nice though. the only good player i remember always using one was howard vickery.
not likely the original company misspelled anything. so maybe that was done during the rehab. and casts suspicion on the whole job.
i would also say 600. but i wouldnt touch it. and you never know when a name is on it what will happen.
