Hi all,

I am hoping for a positive ID on this table that I picked up from Craigslist recently. I am not complaining anymore as to whether or not it was worth the $200 I spent, rather it's now about the mystery of the maker and why someone would intentionally (or not) remove the name plate. $20 for positive ID.

The thread and pics are here

American Classic.

The split end liner. The plywood stretcher connecting both legs. Was the slate held down with machine screws and nuts?

Here is the missing nameplate.

I was going to say Kasson until I saw the split end liner. They WERE Minnesota as well until they went belly up.

They still put there name on import tables as of a couple years ago. But they haven't made them like that in a while.

200$ is a great price but I don't think it should have been anymore than 6-700. Almost everyone I see that has the original cushions they've gotten hard.
