Gee, and all this time I thought we were worried about the modulus of elasticity of a ferrule material not the mass weight. Oh well. Mason, I still want some of your ferrule material when it comes in cause I hear it has a good feel.

I just installed one of Mason's Micarta Ferrules on my OB-1 shaft and I really like the way it plays, the ferrule material is very light weight and machines/cuts nicely and cleans up well. I recommend this ferrule to everyone. You wont be dissappointed.
