I still notice alot of ebay cue auctions, which is definately cool. But Scott Sherbine of proficientbilliards.com started a POOL only auction site. It's been up about a year or more I guess and it's still not getting the play it should be getting.
Scott has been doing top flite refinishing for quite a few years and is really a stand up guy. We have delf with him for at least 5 years and never had an issue. The pool only auction is a great idea and should be utilized by more people IMHO. So if you are selling a cue, please try and list it there. Right now for a limited time its free. FREE.. no fees.. can you imagine? Do you know what it costs to list a $ 2500 dollar cue on ebay? Then pay the "final value" fee? Then use paypal, jeez ebay should just charge a flat 25% and stop the guess work.
I hope the "cuedealers" and general cue selling and buying publice utilize this great service more. I personally am looking forward to listing a few more auctions.
Best regards,
Joe Van Buren
