Plz help with cue value

ok you said 500.00 or less with original shaft , i was asking 550.obo with a predator shaft , i eventually took 450.00 for all of it , that being said why would you turn down a predator shaft that you could sell after the purchase if it was included , man you guys have lost me.....

If you read the thread listing i have the original shaft the predator was a bonus , if i didnt like a predator who cares its still free money,i priced this cue way under price ,didnt add the value of the predator in with the price everyone just asumed well if hes asking 550.00 then i can offer him 300.00
cause he can shove that predator up his a**.
So it wouldnt matter if i was asking 200.00 i guess since it had a predator shaft to i should let it go for 50.00 and keep the predator shaft....

not really im not worried about this ,cue is sold , id just like to see if it was your cue with extra predator shaft what the asking price would have been and would you have thrown it in the garbage because you didnt prefer a predator shaft lmao
Wow cause thats all i have heard since i asked a serious question about the value and not one person gave me an honest opinion.
All i got was josey was mass produced and predator shafts are junk .
Next time ill just throw it on ebay were people arnt so hypocritical .

You didn't make a bad deal, but it wasn't the screaming deal that would typically turn a profit in a day.
If you sold a 5-year old Josey purple heart sneaky pete, with an original shaft and a Predator shaft for $450 in one day, you did pretty good.
Packages like that rarely bring much extra $$ because of the Predator shaft, unless somebody wants the Predator shaft to play with.
Buying a used cue/shaft package just to make a buck on a Predator shaft is tough action.
Josey cues are nice but they don't go up in value, so there is really no money to be made on a deal like this, regardless of what a new Predator shaft sells for.
I have done deals like this one many times, and I've sold many nice LD shafts cheap just to get rid of them.

Please don't think I was trying to say your cue was not worth what you were asking, I never said if your price was too high or too low.. I was just commenting on why it may or may not be delling as fast as you like.. Chris

I recently posted a 2008 Keith Josey
Comes with predator shaft and original shaft
I gave 475.00 and a used action break cue for this package.
I don't need the cue so I decided to put on here to try to make
A small profit or at best break even.
But so far no luck ,not sure why.

Speaking from experience

I have sold some cues on eBay. The easiest way to turn a profit on a deal like that is to sell the pred shaft separately. I have sold pred shafts for $200 all by themselves. In fact, the best I ever come out on a production cue deal was when I bought a P3 with 3 z shafts in a Pred Blak 2x4 case for $720. I then sold the P3 with one shaft for 560. Then got 200 each for other two shafts. Then sold case solo for 150. When you sell things grouped together, you lose as the seller.
