Pocket Billiards Slip-On Pool Cue Counter-Weight Accessory. This brass cylindrical pool cue shaft accessory provides about 4.5 ounces of additional weight and steadies the stroke when shooting over a ball or when the cue ball is frozen or near the cushion. It may even help with jump cue shots although I never tried it so I can't really say for sure. The counter weight accessory has a diamond knurled exterior finish and the interior has 2 white O-rings that squeeze around the shaft and holds the weight in place. The length of the accessory is 2.5" long and has a 7/8" outside diameter and a 3/4" inside diameter, give or take 1/32". The O-ring size is about 11/16", give or take 1/32". If you slip the counter weight onto a 13mm shaft the near end of the counter weight will end up about 17" from the cue tip. If you slip the counter-weight onto a 12.5mm shaft the near end of the counter weight end up about 19" from the cue tip. The price is $10 plus $7.50 for shipping and handling (continental US only). Played in a small tournament a few weeks ago against a guy who used one of these. He said he was close friends with Pat Fleming of Accu-Stats and said Pat invented it. Pretty cool if that's the case. Great idea.
