Are they of a standard thickness? That is, do they reduce pocket width by a predictable amount, or do you have to trim each shim?
How many shims do you prefer? In other words, how tight do you like your pockets?
There's a room in Denver that boasts the town's only quadruple-shimmed money table. When I jam two balls into the corner jaws, the cue ball just bounces off of them like it hit a brick. Is that too tight?
