Poison Jump Review

Lately, I have been testing out different jump cues. Last week I was at Seyberts and got to hit for the first time with the new Poison jump cues. My review will be in many ways a comparison to the preditor air since it is no longer being made and I have spent adequate time using one.

My pro's:
Liked the grip, very comfortable.
Liked the wood shaft relative to the predator air shaft.
I jumped well with it and felt my accuracy was good with it.
My accuracy was very similar to the predator air(when breaking it down to a two piece).
Lastly, I thought it looked pretty cool. ;)

My Con's:
Did not like the tip as much as much as the Pred Air's
***Unlike the predator air, it is a two piece, so I found it to short at 41" to hit those jacked up on the ball, lower jump shots. It is somewhat decieving, as three quarters of the way up the shaft it is painted to match the butt color. It looks like there would be a joint there but there is not. Ultimately, I would have bought this cue is it had a third piece extention like the predator Air.

Hopefully you will find this review useful if you are considering this cue. I would also like to hear your opinions whether you feel the same as me or opposed. Basically, for a 41" jumper I thought it was decent. But my preference would be for it to be constructed more like the Air in 3 pieces with some additional length but the ability to break it down to around 40".
