does any one know what the poison shaft thread is?

I like the shaft but don't like any of the butts they offer.
Wanted to know incase i wanted a cue made to fit the shaft.

Just a different perspective here so take it FWIW.

Why would you have a cue built to accommodate a totally bastard thread shaft? Wouldn't it make more sense to swap-out the Poison insert in favor of an insert that is considerably more common? Then your options are limitless. Tell me, is there something about that pin that you really like?
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that there is a very real likelihood that you will never see maintenance drive pins available for that thread. Where does that leave you down the road?

The thread type for the Poison cues is completely unique to the Poison cues.

As KJ said, it would be easier, and more cost effective, to remove the original insert and change to fit any butt you want.

The shaft threads for Poison cues have 2 styles of "uni-loc" pins in them, they are called the Ghost or the Bullit. Basically, they are the " Uni-Loc" joint/pin but modified slightly so very little work can be done on them without the correct maintenance pins. I have created the maintenance pins from existing stock as I really like these cues and have sold a dozen or so in my area. Didn't take much to modify current Uni-Loc pin and insert to be able to use them for my maintenance pins.

Wouldn't want to built a butt though as original pins and inserts are not available yet from the " Predator Group of Companies", but sometime in the near future from what I have been told.
