I live in Canada, not worthwhile money wise to send for repair. I understand stock ferrule less weight and thinner. If I use another ferrule, shaft characteristics will change, I am told. Suggestions, options?
Look for someone who has the experience you do not have yet.Thanks. I am not sure of knowledge, experience to do this well in my area, nor am I sure of criteria to judge this issue. I have a watched a few videos of this repair, and I think some of the repairs were better than others. Any suggestions of what to look for? Ferrule material pros and cons?
I agree, good wisdomLook for someone who has the experience you do not have yet.
