Pool Ball Collecting.

They're a unique design, definitely would be nice to have at a home table. And they're made by a good manufacturer, which is great news.

In the beginning my ball buying journey last year, I didn't originally know about the ball quality topic very well besides not wanting "garbage bin" balls. This is also how I came to even own the "Tiffany" ball set and the "Louis Vuitton" ball set knockoffs. The Tiffany ones aren't a complicated design, so they're "fine", just don't feel very nice and are a little "matte" on the finish. The LV ones suck; gaps in the resin, sunken parts, and uncentered and inconsistent execution. I didn't have a good understanding of this until I opened the Diamond by Cosmos balls and their phenolic resin and vitrification layer were amazing.

So, the fact that these are a nice set, made by Dynasphere, and are also phenolic resin are all big pluses. The price though seems like $450/set?
I think the Chinese Hey Ball set was around the €150,- mark, when I last checked. Not sure now, if they are OOP and thus rarer...

Haha, the longer I stare at this picture, the more I think I see things, or maybe I don't...

What're the chances you could line them all up beside each other respectively, 1-15+cue ball? There seem to be design differences and colour differences and I'd love to have a clearer look at the same numbers side-by-side, if you could :-)
Taking some side by side photos are on my list of things to do. I'll try to get them in a day or two.

As requested, side-by-side photos of the Aramith Tournament and the IPT balls.

I have a friend who has a set of the ipt balls that may be for sale. We haven't decided if I will list them on eBay or try to sell them to someone here. I do believe they would be an unopened box. We are trying to determine what to list them for or start the auction at. Either way I will keep you informed.

Thanks, trying to not get the light reflection in the wrong place is a little tricky.

I didn't mention the tournament balls were bought only a few months ago, brand new from my distributor. I'm not sure if the older sets had that more iridescent thing going on around the numbers.

When I open that link, I see another set of Cyclop Zeus Tournament TV set for sale. Might this be the same as my set here?

Its just, that they are so expensive on ebay, for $300,-. Or are mine a cheap knock-off version of these balls? Mine had a different box. I got them together with another set, this here:

And I only paid about €75,- for both of them together from China. The second one play nice though, and still look shiny after a few hours of play. Did not have much playtime on the TV set so far…
