It’s for 6reds PoolSnooker, a Snooker variant with rules adapted for normal sized Pool tables.
Nothing to do with pool whatsoever.

6 reds snooker is a shortened version of snooker using much the same the rules. With fewer reds the "frames" takes less time to play enabling organisers to get though a huge draw while enabling the players to still play best of 3 or 5 frame eliminations.

6 reds has been adapted in most countries and being a shorter game it can be more entertaining when televised.

I literally supplied a link as well.

This set of balls is not for normal 6 Reds Snooker, which is indeed a smaller version of Snooker with just 6 balls. And there is another version which uses 10 red object balls. Nevertheless these games are played on a Snooker table afaik…

6 Reds PoolSnooker (thats their name on the website) is specifically made for Pool tables. Of course it bares similarities with normal 6 Reds Snooker. It provides aids and a tutorial for marking the correct spots on a Pool sized table. The set has the 2 special balls as well. And in case of a tie, there is no respotted black but a special Shoot Off play to determine the winner.

I have a question about the Poker Pool set and the Romanique III set from the Billiards Museum:

What pool balls are the most similar to in regards to materials? Vigma? Where the colours meet, they look ultra crisp and not like the hazzy way that phenolic resin balls tend to look. I've wondered about that for a while. I've also been wondering when set #3 is going to hit the streets becasue it's been a while now since set #2 (Romanique IIIs) came out and I want to get in on the next set after having missed the first 2.
I would also be interested in this new set Rubik.
