As previously noted, some way of numbering the balls like a mini-Russian Pyramid set would be preferable if you're going to call shots. The only difficulty is if you use a white cue ball you're going to be having an easter egg hunt every time you hit into a pack of balls.

Real snooker balls are 2 1/15", 'American snooker' balls are 2 1/8", and these are 2 1/4" Perfectly useless except for what you want them for.
Edit: If you want to play a game where you have to pick balls out of a loosely broke pack to go on large runs, and don't like the solid-stripe nonsense, just play real snooker instead.
