Pool Balls question

I was at a pawn shop this morning and spied a set of balls in a Brunswick Centennials box. The numbering looked like Centennials, but the solid balls and the stripe on the numbered balls had a marbleized effect. Did Brunswick make a set like this? Sorry, I forgot to get a picture. Will get some if I get back there. I suspect these were not actual Brunswick balls, but I'm no expert.

They were asking $60, which might be ok for actual Centennials, but not for knock-offs.

Most likely cheap imports in a Centennials box.
 
The only variation I have ever seen in the real Centennial balls is the brief period where they made a "TV" set w/ pink 4 / 12 and brown 7/15. I'm hopeful someone here with more experience and history on Brunswick will chime in with more information. Over the years, they have changed the design VERY slightly, with straight versus curved underlines on the 6/9 and very small differences in the points and circles in terms of width. Some of the older sets have been posted in the "Pool Ball Collecting" thread. That is always a great place to look for history of ball sets and types.
 
I got a set with my new pool table about 1985 and they were Brunswick. They seem to be very good pool balls do you think they were expensive or did Brunswick make a cheap set?

Neat design but that is not the Brunswick type design for the numbers. If you compare any pictures of the real thing online you will see.
 
Thanks to all who responded. I was pretty sure they were not Brunswick balls, But I hated to think I might have missed out on a rare Centennial variant if they were.

Remember when dealing with Pawn Brokers most are smarter then customers.

Also most are a step above a loan shark.🦈

They have to be smarter or they wouldn’t be in biz.

There’s a correlation between being smart and having $, sometimes
