There are countless aspects of this game we all love that can be difficult to overcome or to master. It may be attaining a new high run in 14.1 or it may be beating the 9-ball ghost for the first time. It could be things like learning a new stance, bridging over a ball, finding and fixing little quirks in our mechanics or even over coming mental problems etc. Now take all of those things and add in a wheelchair....
My team captain (Shane Powell) from my league team amazes me. He has been in a wheelchair for what must seem like an eternity after a life changing motorcycle accident 4 years ago. His "Can Do" attitude is flat out awesome and I'm sure there is no mountain he can't climb. Since his accident pool has become a passion for Shane and he is rapidly improving his game. He is currently ranked 7th out of the shooters in our league and I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the top 5 or maybe even 3 shooters really soon...That takes heart if you ask me...
Keep it up Shane!!!!
