Pool Case Stand Such a Thing

FWIW the large 3x6 Whitten case is advertised as being able to stand up by itself with no clamps or brackets. Never having seen one presumably it stands on it's end simply due to the size.

The Giuseppe cases also stand verticallyl on their own, but what will keep in from tipping over if bumped? I'm curious to see what someone can create. I know I'd buy one for me and also be interested in becoming a dealer!

For that matter my 3x5 Instroke will stand by itself, but I wouldn't consider it stable enough to have my cues sticking out of it well it stood by itself. I suspect the same is true of the Whitten.

Q- Caddy

I have one stand just like that, It is made in the USA. It can be attached to any case via a velcro strap. There is a metal pole which will trigger the stand to come out once the stand is pressed on the floor. Unfortunately, the velcro strap is missing. Other than that, this is in prefect working order. I will try to post some pictures soon. I am almost 100% sure this is what Zim Rack was referring to. It is called a Q-caddy. I believe it is no longer in production.

Go to the ccb and contact Chris Cass. He made wheels for his Justis that fold up when not in use and they work great. He'll be glad to share his ideas with you.

Richard- If you're interested in parting with it, let me know. I've been looking for that for about 2 years.

Shorty- What kind of case do you use? How many cues do you carry with you?

Thanks,
Zim

I am glad to hear that what I have is what you have been looking for.

This one is missing the velcro strap, and I believe there was a double sided tape which was used to adhere the stand to the case which is also missing. It was a just a regular piece of 3M double sided tape. Other than that, it is in prefect working order.

It was marketed by a company called "Worldwide Billiards Concepts," which as far as I know, is no longer in business.

I do not use this personally. I like my case to be very light. Make me a reasonable offer and it is yours.

Anyway, please check the pictures before you decide. I am still trying to figure out how to post pictures--mine are way too big...

Thank you.

Regards,

Richard

Hey Richard, JAM taught me this photo trick....open your picture in MS Paint, click on the Image tab in the upper tool bar. A drop drown menu comes down, select strech/skew....in the strech box change the horizontal and vertical demensions to 25. Depending on the size of your initial picture, you may want to play around with this percentage. Then all you have to do is save your altered picture and upload to AZ!

Good luck! ;)

You can email them to me, michael@zimsrack.com and then I'll make you an offer.

Thanks,

some players I know have opted for a salesman's case,,,has it's own wheels and pull up handle like some luggage has,,has three places on the side to stand up put- together cues,,lots of storage,,some of them have a pouch specially for a cell phone..
check out www.cuestix.com (item # AC1224)...other brands come in different butt/shaft configurations, but this is the only one I can remember right now...

After SEARCHING THE INTERNET I find nothing currently in production to do this Job.

Now I need input on three question.

If the Product worked to do the anticipated Job what would you pay for it?

Would you be wiling to ASSEMBLE it on Site if the Assemble Took Two Minutes or Less?

Would you like to see it made in Wood, Metal, or Plastic?

I have a Whitten custom 2 butt, 3 shaft. I generally carry two cues in it, my break and my playing cue. It is square almost, 3 inch by 3 inch.
