While on a link from Andrew (thanks) I saw this one person selling what looks like a jump tip which screws into the butt of the stick.

That is seriously bizarre, and probably not legal in any league, except maybe TAP

It looks like you are supposed to attach it directly to the butt instead of using a shaft. $45?! WTF?! Looks like some hokey junk to me.
