Where are you located?
I've got a Porper Mini-Q lathe I'd consider selling. It hasn't been used alot and is in very good used condition.
Mine is an older model but, here's a pic I found online as an example.

Did not want to spend that much.
Understandable!! If you get into minor repairs, tips, ferrules, cleanings, you will eventually spend that much.
