Hello,

First off.... sorry no photo, should have taken one while I had the chance, but I left phone in the car...

I was at a pawn shop over the weekend, where I saw an interesting cue for sale. The only discriminating mark on it was a "Y" in the white butt cap.

The design was quite interesting with lots of patchwork inlays and joint rings, I'd never seen one quite like that and it did look quite classy. However, when I screwed it together and gave it the old whack-test (hold butt with right hand and hit the forearm with palm of left) to see how whippy the cue was, I could hear and feel a bit of a vibration.

In speaking with the clerk at the store, she told me that the guy who made it had been in the pawn shop before, as he didn't live very far away (I was in St.Petersburg, FL) and that she was surprised to see that he had only one arm... But she didn't have a name.

Now that I'm home and thinking about that cue, I can't find any information about who might be the maker.

Anyone here ever hear of a cue maker with one arm who uses a Y as is mark?
