I don't think you sharked him at all. I have no problem with opponents being anywhere as long as they are reasonably still.

That said, I do have a major issue with someone hitting balls on the next table! That has happened more than once to me during weekly tournaments. I have not figured out how to tune that one out and when I wait for them to focus on our table, I am psyching myself out more than them (because they didn't realize that they weren't supposed to!)

I am happy to say that this has become a non problem. Tom and I played 8 ball for 3 hrs this afternoon. We didn't discuss anything. I think that we both just thought about it and mutually decided to lighten up.

Tom is a very good player. I watch him closely and I learn. If I win one game out of ten I feel I have played well.
