those three that you have are probably going to be the best pool movies you will find. others are

baltimore bullet
stickmen
shooting gallery
kiss shot

and i'm sure there are more, but right now, these are the only ones that come to mind.

Any idea where i can get these DVD's from, as i do not live in US i am not aware from where i could get them.

Thanks
Vijesh

I've got "Chalk" and "The Baltimore Bullet" also "Shooting Gallery". Send me a PM and I will start you off with these three if you like. Still looking for "The Baron and the Kid"

Out of the 12 that I own these are the only ones I would watch, and only if you are a huge movie fan. (meaning that you enjoy B grade movies!)

1. Hustler
2. Color of Money
3. Pool Hall Junkies (Only good if your obsessed with pool, if you are not then you might not like it.)
4. Stickmen (Only if you can watch any movie, if you are not a movie buff or obsessed with pool you don't want to waste your time.)
5. Shooting Gallery (Only if you can watch any movie, if you are not a movie buff or obsessed with pool you don't want to waste your time.)

I haven't been able to get my hands on the one with Johnny Cash yet, but I hear it is a pretty good movie too.

Kiss shot was horrible!
So was kisses and caroms!
So was snooker!
So was Up Against the 8 Ball
So was Behind the Nine
So was the Pool Hustlers
(But this one is watchable if you like reading subtitles.)

But the extras were real poolplayers. Shot in CA poolroom and recruited the patrons as the extras. It was an experience watching them make it - the NYP guy ---- Franz was a good guy along with Morgan Freeman.

But the movie was horrible, and the pool shots were horrible.............I only got through it because Franz was in it! I wouldn't watch it again though.

Except for "The Hustler" and "Color of Money" (not really good, but good enough if you like pool) that can be said about every other pool movie I've seen. I haven't seen Baltimore Bullet, but hear it is nothing to get excited about.

You can find A LOT of them on www.amazon.com . The only annoying thing is that a lot of sellers won't ship overseas, and you only find out when checking out.

Got me to looking and I know that WAL-MART has a vast selection of movies on line, so I looked up my favorite movie (pool related), and guess whaT I came up with.

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5720906

I might have to just buy this one as well. The one I have is in blk&wht. This looks like it was redone to e color.

AWESOME!!

It doesn't say anything about being in color, it just says it is in widescreen format.

Let me know if it is in color though!

ditto for me too. if it's in color, that alone is worth buying.

*sigh, i wish pool as a sport was big enough so we have quality movies. look at Rounders, Lucky you, and even Tilt on espn. they all stayed true to the game and provided quality acting.

I have on VHS:
The Hustler
Baltimore Bullet
The Color of Money

On DVD I have:
The Hustler
The Hustler aniv 2 dvd one that just came out
The Color of Money
Pool Hall Junkies
Stickmen
Shooting Gallery

:)
