“The Gulf Coast Classic”, Dec.8th thru 12th, 2004 has three wonderful sponsors, the American Pool players Assn., Diamond Pool Table Products Inc. and the Sims X-1
Cue Stick Stabilizer. We also offer some precedents:
1. The unveiling of a Leonard Bludworth $35,000 cue, personally created for Grady Mathews.
2. Handicap Nine Ball , $75 entry fee and No-limit Hold-em, $110 entry fee. Both of these offer at least a $3,000 first place prize.
3. A Ring Bank Pool Game, starring 6 of the world’s finest bank pool players.
$3,000 entry fee. We already have half of the players committed to this. Slated to compete are Tony Fargo, Ritchie Richeson and Buddy Hall.
4. A VIP high-roller, single elimination One Pocket tournament, contestants to be named later. My ideal cast would be “Squirrel”, Ricky Byrd, Hooker and Jew Paul.
Booths are only $700. Leonard Bludworth or Grady Mathews may be contacted about renting a booth.
The room rate is going to be approximately $69 weeknights and $79 Fri. and Sat.
As with any Grady event gambling is encouraged and the facility will be open 24 hours.
