Pool game at the carnival?

Sorry, I should have specified: The 10 bucks per game was actually my choice. You actually wage on what prize you get if you win:
$10=Jumbo
$5=Large
$3=Medium
$2=Small

I remember playing this at the carnival back in the day when I was a teen.
I also remember another pool game at the carnival where they would set up three balls in a little pyramid on the spot. (just like the game 3-ball) but in the middle of the 3 balls they would place a nail on its head standing upright.
To win you must break and knock the nail over.
Rules:
1. A ball rebounding off the cushion does not count
2. You must knock it over with an object ball (cue ball doesn't count)
Try it.... not as easy as you think.

I fully admit it is a sucker's game for the most part, but choosing the $10 game gets you the Jumbo prize if you win. These things are so big, my girlfriend gets tired walking around with them. This last year, it was a huge white buffalo that was as tall as her standing. Not gonna lie, I watch her lug those things around with pride!
You are right! Those stuffed animals used to be too big to put in a car. I was lucky enough to live close enough to the York Fair so I could walk.
Even then it wasn't worth the walk carrying that big thing.:smile:
well they usually have more than one table set up....watch to see which one plays better and dont try to crush the break...ive played every yr til they tell me i cant....which is about 3 or 4 wins depending on the carny working the game
