The Pool Hall Junkies movie is on sale at Amazon.com for $7.47 for the DVD, and I just bought the VHS version for $2.54 ($5.03 with shipping).

It was a bargain I could not pass up ... lol

mm i love this movie above all. ive seen it easily 10 times already and i only got it a month ago. From colour of money, hustler, stickman and all the others out there, i love this one the most. Sorry for the hustler freaks, i know there are alot, but i fell asleep during the movie :s

poolhalljunkies: in colour :D , modern, lots of action, funny :D , atractive woman, hustling, action , it has all i like. probably just a choice of what u like in movies, but it is my ALL time favorit poolmovie by far :)

just to let u know, not all hate the movie, and for 8$ its a BARGAIN.

I don't understand what is so bad about the movie. Ok, Ricky Schroder didn't look like a top pro when he played but who cares. Other than that I thought he acted his part fairly well. Some of the cons were fairly old cons, but I figured that was the point. All of this leads up to Johnny's trick at the end of the movie.

Its a fun movie, certainly not oscar worthy, but its fun.

Ditto. It was as enjoyable as most movies out there, perhaps even more so. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 if 5 is truly average.

Check ebay for prices. My complaint about Amazon when I ordered a book there in 2002 was that checkout and tracking were quite combersome. I go elsewhere for online purchases.

And the movie was a real gas. I've always enjoyed watching it.

I just ordered Pool Hall Junkies DVD, $10.45 shipped.

I have been waiting to own this. Rented it once.

I also own "The Hustler" and Color of Money".

"The Hustler" is the best of them all, and a great movie regardless if you are a pool or billiard fan.
