I'll be in Houston the week after next and thought about taking my cue's with me to shoot some pool. Any recomendations for places to play either in Downtown or close by?

Flyboy's place-Cue & Cushion. I believe it's on N. Shepard. Just north of downtown.

Slicks at Bayou Palace in Downtown, search it

Go 45 South and exit Monroe, make a left under bridge and Barneys on the right

Go 45 South and exit Woodridge, make a u-turn underbridge and Slicks on your right parallel to hwy.

What Stones said^ 45 North then I-10West and exit N. Shepard, make a left and go few lights down and Cue-Cushion on right I think.

If you want some action go to Bogies and thats 45 north exit FM 1960, make a right, pass 3 lights or you see Subway and make a right because its behind there.

Bogies is the place to play in North Houston. It's open 24 hours and there is action there for all speeds. Careful though, some strong players. If your in the Southern part of Houston I would say Legends but I think it may be closed for repairs.

I started playing pool in Houston actully a year and a half ago before I moved up north, I didn't even own a cue and I always just played at Slick Willies, never much action there though but it was always a nice place to play with what I feel is fair prices.
