Pool Halls/Leagues in Kingston?

Evening all.

Looking for some help here.

Looks like I may be moving to Kingston Ontario in the spring/summer of the up coming new year so I was hoping some fello canucks might know of or have played at any Billiard rooms in Kingston.

I looked on the internet at some league sites like BCA, APA and CCS and when I checked for league locations there were none for the Kingston area.

If anyone has info on Kingston I would be very gratefull.

kingston has one place to play "Raxx bar and grill".
there is a league on monday nights but its an in house league with small cash prizes for the teams, its in the BCA format and the guys who run it are great guys, there is a small tournament on thursday nights and you will get a few real good players(Reid, Jay goyer, Chris Anglan) and a lot of guys just out for a good night.

i lived there my whole life and just moved to burlington, when i was in kingston i worked at raxx and never played better haha. Raxx has really just killed all the other pool rooms in kingston and becase of that they dont really take care of there tables(40+ black crowns when i started there). They are more about the booze and the bands, the only good thing is the staff are not hard to look at hense the name "RAXX".

I checked out the Raxx website and it looks like it will be the place to play with 45 tables.

I was hoping that there was a sanctioned league in the area but at least I will have an in house and Thursday night tourney nights.

I appreciate you taking the time to fill me in. I hope all goes well for you in Burlington. I am sure they must have several places to play. :)

I dont even think Anglan or Goyer play much anymore.. I have been told that Goyer doesnt anyways. Havent heard too much from Anglan either. Your right tho.. the tables arent too looked after.. I miss the Limestone Open they used to have too...

i just came back from kingston and talked with my old boss at raxx, they will not be haveing the limestone open anymore they loose to much money :confused:

as for Goyer he only plays once a week maybe... i havent seen Anglan on the pool table for a year now. i remember when he came 4th in the limestone with a house cue.:eek: he has some scary skill!
