Any Texas folks from the Dallas area here? I'll be working in Dallas for the next week and wanted to find out where the best pool rooms in Dallas are.

Thanks Randy! I'm in downtown Dallas, but I have a car, so I can get around. It doesn't have to be "nearby" but I wouldn't mind taking a look at CJ's new place.

Are you having any session this week, I'd love to stop by and say hello - since I have seen you since my instructor class a few years ago... I'm planning to move this way, so if I don't catch you this trip, I'll stop by next time.

td873 , If your talking about Carsons , it's more of a night club. He has removed all but about 4 tables. Not the place to play pool. There are alot of places to play , it depends on what your looking for , and the day of the week that your looking to play.

Pool In Dallas

I would try Rack Daddys on Abrams and Northwest highway. CJ's old place is not what it used to be. It is on East Grand and Garland road.
 
Clicks on Marsh Ln usually has a pretty good tourn on Wed. Night.
From downtown. You might want to go to www.clicks.com also.
This is probably 30 min or so from downtown , the Rackdaddy's on Abrams is closer but I'm not sure what they have going on on Wed. It is the place for action most of the time.
Dallas North Tollway - north
Tollway 190 ( George Bush Tollway ) - west - left
Rosemeade - north - right
Marsh Ln - left - Clicks is immediatly on your rt
 
Rack Daddys on Abrams I believe has a tournament on Thursday. Clicks Marsh would be the better choice on a Wednesday. A few of the top dallas players play that one. Kelly's on walnut and audelia have a bar box tournament on friday.

I agree with ALLENJK, Clicks on Marsh lane, or Rusty's. Also some good action in Sherman, Tex. about an hour north of Dallas. later, Beatle.........
