I'm taking the week off between Christmas & New years, was thinking about spending a few days in either Denver or Spokane.....& playing alot of pool. Can anyone suggest places to shoot pool/hang out in either place?

I guess I better keep in mind the rates.....if I'm paying $8.00/hr for a table, I may not be hanging out there 8 hrs a day. We'll see.....I just want to get away for a few days (I live in Billings MT :( )

There are a lot of pool halls in the denver area, these are two I like;
Table Steaks at about 20th and sheridan blvd.
Paradise Billiards at sw corner of 38th and sheridan blvd.(Great Thurs. 9 B tourny) you will see Laura smith and Mellisa little in it quite often.

if you pick up a cue times newspaper at either one you can find dozens of pool halls and bars advertised.

Never been to Spokane, but the last time I was in Denver I played all over town. My favorite place to play in Denver is Table Steaks on Sheridan. Decent rates, action for all skill levels, good food, fairly friendly atmosphere. Last I was there they were days away from opening a new Table Steaks across town, and according to a friend it is now the place to play. There are posters here who live in Denver who will be able to give you some better info. Have fun!

Cuetimes is online...so check it out. Table steaks is OK, but it's gone down hill in the last few years. Paradise is better. Rates should be around $3.00/hr. I think that Paradise has an all you can play for $5.00 from something like 10 to 4.

Doug

Places to play in Spokane

There is realy only one place where any players hang out. It is McQ's in the Spokane Valley. Thay have nine Gold Crowns with good cloth. Some days there are serveral good players around and some not. There is often a ring game at night.

PM me and maybe we could play some.
