Kind of an obscure question, but where else could you ask?:D

I'm going down there for a couple of weeks in February and wonder if anybody here knows whether there are any decent places to play. Some hotels I've looked at on Web boast of having a pool table, but that's about all I know.

Hey Travis,

Sorry, I didn't see your post originally. I may be able to help you out. I played in a tournament there about 5 years ago, but it was held in a car dealership (believe that!) I didn't get to any of the pool halls, but I understand that there is at least one decent one, and they had 6 GC's set up at the car dearlership, so they had to have come from somewhere. There is a guy living on St. Thomas who I met while at the tournament in Guadeloupe, and I got one or two other people who should be able to get some info in a day or two. I'll PM when I have the information.

BTW, based on how things were five years ago, if you play B+ level or above you'll be stealing from practically everybody there.

VI Prof, thanks, I knew somebody'd come through with something here. Hardly a square inch of the globe not represented on this board, right? Sure, lemme know when you've got some details. BTW, I'll be in Deshaies and Les Saintes.

Unfortunately, I won't be stealing! But if the best they've got is B players, I can at least step up.
